100 Black Men of Jackson provides long-term mentor relationships for multiple stages of life that expand the possibilities of what can be achieved by our youth.

Education

We provide expanded educational experiences and advocacy in the areas that significantly affect the community. The 100 addresses systemic issues and bridges opportunity gaps for African American youth.

We create environments where children and their families are inspired to dream, challenged to achieve and empowered to be economic stakeholders. We create opportunity.

Welcome from Our President

Welcome to our website where we communicate and share our mission, values, initiatives, and programs. The 100 Black Men of Jackson Mississippi, Inc. is one of over 98 chapters that are affiliated with the 100 Black Men of America, Inc.

From inception, the Mission has been to educate and empower African American youth and the communities in which we serve. Our mentoring efforts crisscross the City of Jackson at targeted Jackson Public Elementary, Junior and Senior High Schools.

How to become part of 100 BMoJ

We currently serve mentees at the following schools: Barr Elementary, Galloway Elementary, Walton Elementary, Brinkley Middle, Hardy Middle, Powell Middle, Jim Hill High, Lanier High, Provine High. Contact us at (601) 366-8301 for information about becoming a part of the 100 Black Men of Jackson as a mentor or mentee family. For new member/mentors, you must be sponsored by a current member of the 100.
