Scholarship Banquet

For over 33 years, the 100 Black Men of Jackson, Inc. has celebrated its annual scholarship and mentoring banquet. This event allows us the opportunity to celebrate our mentees and raise funds that support scholarships for our graduating seniors and the institutions they attend. Our mentees undergo rigorous preparation for the banquet, which helps to develop their presentation skills and stage presence.

MSDH Health Disparities Among Youth Program

The MSDH Health Disparities Among Youth program was launched in January of 2024. Lead by Dr. Audwin Fletcher, this program aims to expose African American youth to careers in the health sciences while instilling knowledge of health disparities faced in the African American community today. Students engage in conversations on sexual health, curated info sessions on health conditions and stereotypes with African Americans, and more to come. We also offer mentees the opportunity to explore locations outside of Mississippi, creating experiences that will stay with them forever.
